The funding we have received from the Department of Health has been particularly valuable as it has covered some of our core costs, enabling us to pursue the most important issues as they emerge.

Unfortunately, over the past six years, the amount of funding we receive from government has declined every year, and in 2008/09 accounts for about 15% of our annual income.
