We proudly present National AIDS Trust’s new fundraising initiative, Drag Raise. The lights are up, the stage is set...and everyone’s invited.

Drag as an art form has always been a powerful tool for self-expression and activism. The drag community has historically played an important role in HIV activism, challenging HIV-related stigma, as well as being a source of strength, relief, and support for communities living with, and affected by, HIV throughout the epidemic.

This summer we’re asking you to celebrate drag culture in style, and join a movement to raise funds for our work, so that together we can end new HIV transmissions by 2030 and stamp out HIV stigma...with heels on.

We are thrilled to announce a collaboration with the iconic Bimini! ✨

The fashion, drag and music sensation has designed this incredible slogan tee, available now via Everpress,

Profits support our work to fight HIV stigma and end new transmissions.

Bimini said: "Madonna, one of the biggest pop stars of all time, has always been a true ally for the community and spoke out about HIV and AIDS at a time when compassion and understanding was non-existent. The work National AIDS Trust has done and continues to do is revolutionary, so this was a no-brainer. I’m thrilled to play a small part in the prolific work they do."

This collaboration, part of our Drag Raise campaign, really is a dream come true. Thank you so much to Bimini and Everpress for making it happen.

Drag Raise flagship event

On 18 July 2024 we held our first Drag Raise flagship event at the central London’s glamourous Luminist Bar. A sensational night of drag, dancing and activism, our event was hosted by drag superstar Cheddar Gorgeous and featured the talents of drag stars Vanity Milan, Ella Vaday, Häns Off and Daisy Puller. We’d like to thank our corporate sponsors Diageo and MAC Cosmetics for their support and everyone who attended. To be the first to hear about our 2025 Drag Raise event, please sign up to our newsletter.
