The National AIDS Trust is the UK's leading independent policy and campaigning charity on HIV and AIDS. As a small organisation we welcome volunteers to help us to stop the spread of HIV and end prejudice.

Achieving this will take time. Can you spare some of yours?

If so, please look below for updated opportunities...

Current Volunteer Opportunities:

1.) Fundraising Volunteer

We need a volunteer to come to our office in Old Street, London, for three full working days to communicate with our long term supporters to improve our relationships and fundraising strategy.

  • Volunteers must have the ability to use Microsoft Excel to tidy the supporters data, a good phone manner to call supporters and the ability to use Microsoft Word to record the communication.

  • If you would like to volunteer, please send an email requesting an application form.  Please contact Alexandra Friend via info@nat.org.uk.

What to expect

Whichever areas of our work our volunteers get involved in, we are committed to providing our volunteers with:

  • A sense that they are both valued and appreciated
  • Challenging and rewarding volunteering opportunities
  • A safe working environment
  • An induction into the organisation
  • Continuing support and supervision
  • Relevant "on the job" training
  • Reimbursement of agreed expenses

In return, all we ask is that our volunteers:

  • Make a genuine commitment
  • Uphold our aims and values
  • Respect confidentiality
  • Inform their supervisor if they cannot attend
  • Work as a part of a team

You don't have to give up all your spare time. Just decide how much time you can devote to the National AIDS Trust, and we will find an opportunity that suits you.
