Get Involved

North Lindsey college

There are many ways you can get involved in NAT's work to prevent the spread of HIV and improve the lives of people living with the virus.

Support World AIDS Day

1 December every year is an international day of action on HIV and AIDS. You can get involved by holding or attending an event to raise money or awareness about HIV. Or you can simply wear a red ribbon as a symbol of support for people living with HIV and a sign of hope for the future. Visit the World AIDS Day website.

Add your voice to our campaigns

Many vulnerable people are not accessing life saving HIV treatment because they cannot afford the charges. You can support the campaign by adding your name to the call for Free Treatment for All.

Speak out against stigma and discrimination

If you have felt the stigma of HIV or have been discriminated against as a result of your HIV status, tell us about your experiences. Your stories can help us influence decision makers in our work to eradicate discrimination. Contact policyandcampaigns@nat.org.uk or read personal stories.

Tell us what you think

NAT values the views of people living with HIV and those with an interest in or experience of HIV issues. Share your views on our projects, campaigns, publications and resources and let us know if there are issues you think we should be addressing. We want to hear your feedback so that we can represent your views when we campaign for change. Contact policyandcampaigns@nat.org.uk

Diana, Princess of Wales was one of the first public figures to challenge misconceptions about HIV.  As patron of the National AIDS Trust, Diana was committed to raising the profile of HIV and challenging stigma.  Today, the National AIDS Trust continues its work to increase public awareness and understanding and ensure people living with HIV are treated with justice, dignity and respect.  Find out how you can support our vital work here.
