Give as you earn

If you give to the National AIDS Trust through your payroll, your money can do even more to help us stop the spread of HIV.  This is because whatever you pledge each month is taken from your salary before tax is deducted.  So, for every £1 you give, the taxman gives an additional 28p.

How does it work?
All you need to do is decide how much you would like to donate to us and your accounts department will set up the payment. It will then be deducted automatically from your gross pay or pension before income tax.  Your company may have a £ for £ scheme, some even have a £2 for £1 scheme, where they will match or double the amount you pledge.

What next?

  • Email us your details and we will send you a form to sign
  • Give the National AIDS Trust charity number (297977) to your accounts department and they will do the rest.

What are the benefits to the fight against HIV?

Payroll giving or GAYE (Give As You Earn) is the simplest tax-free way for individuals to donate direct to the National AIDS Trust. Not only does your gift go further but we receive the money on a monthly basis, which means we can plan our future activities much more efficiently.

Can I give to several charities?

If you would rather give to a consortium of charities, the National AIDS Trust is also part of the consortium, Somebody Cares which splits your donation between several charities.
