HIV and Recruitment
This indispensable guide provides employers with the information they need to ensure their recruitment processes are fair and non-discriminatory. It gives clear and accessible advice on how to ask questions about disability, sick leave, gaps in employment, and medical history in application forms and interviews.

For job applicants the guide offers information on legal rights, advice about disclosing to employers, how to deal with difficult questions, and ways to respond to concerns about disability and health. This resource is available free of charge.

Positively Employed: an end to discrimination at work
NAT's Positively Employed leaflet explains what the Disability Discrimination Act 2005 means for people at work, including where to get more information and advice. The fact sheet is available free of charge.

HIV @ Work
HIV @ Work is a resource pack which helps employers understand HIV-related stigma and discrimination and develop strategies to challenge it. As well as providing information on legal duties, it provides advice on managing HIV positive employees and on setting up workplace HIV policies. The pack is available to buy from the NAT shop.

HIV and your disability equality scheme
New legislation will require most public sector bodies, (in education, NHS, housing, local authorities and the police), to publish a disability equality scheme by 4 December 2006. NAT’s guide, HIV and your Disability Equality Scheme, sets out clear steps for senior managers in drawing up a disability equality scheme that addresses the needs of people living with HIV. The guide is available in English and Welsh language versions.

HIV and the workplace - basic advice for Trade Union members and representatives
NAT and the Trades Union Congress (TUC) have produced this leaflet giving advice and information for trade union representatives and officers. The leaflet can be downloaded for free for reproduction or overprinting with local information.

Campaigning adverts
Working with renowned advertising agency Saatchi and Saatchi, NAT developed a series of award winning campaigning adverts to raise awareness about the realities of stigma and discrimination in the workplace and challenge attitudes. You are encouraged to download and distribute the adverts.

Positive Action
Positive Action are a range of resources, designed and produced for use by workplace peer educators in sub-Saharan Africa. They support employers seeking to implement comprehensive workplace HIV and AIDS policies that cover awareness, prevention, care and treatment. The resources are available in English and French and can be bought from the NAT shop.
