Community fundraisers

NAT is lucky to have the support of enthusiastic and dedicated fundraisers. We would like to thank all our fundraisers because without them we simply couldn't continue our work.

For inspiration here are just a few of the events that took place for World AIDS Day 2010:

Medina High School on The Isle of Wight raised an incredible £2,000 by organising various World AIDS Day fundraising activities and by supporting NAT with their school production of RENT.  Their achievements are an inspiration to us all!

Ricky Benson and his Barclaycard colleagues raised over £2,000 by holding a series of fundraising activities, including a dress sown and dress red day, selling red ribbons, cake sales, a red food theme in the canteen ...

Sarab Bonnell School raised over £500 by holding various red-themed events

The HIV Awareness Team at The International School of Aberdeen organised a school concert and cookie sales and auctions to raise an amazing £1,500 for NAT.  Kent Walters, a teacher and organiser of the events at the school said "We were pleased to hold the concert at our school and pleased with the donations received! It is incredible what togetherness, understanding and tolerance can achieve. We hope to have events in the future to continue to support NAT".

We are so grateful to all our amazing community fundraisers for their innovative ideas to raise funds whilst also raising awareness of HIV in the UK.  With a little creativity, organisation and support our fundraisers show that anything is possible!

Have you been inspired? You too can help fight HIV by organising your own fundraising event.
