Trusts & Statutory
For many years the valuable work that the National AIDS Trust does, has been recognised and supported by a variety of trusts, foundations and statutory bodies who fund either specific projects or core costs.
There is a common misconception that HIV is well funded and is no longer a problem because it can be treated with drugs. This has had a negative impact on funding at a time when the number of people living with HIV in the UK is higher than at any other time, and the challenges in addressing the epidemic both in the UK and internationally are numerous.
The National AIDS Trust is grateful to the following Trusts & Foundations for their steadfast support of our work:
The A B Charitable Trust
The Belmont Trust
Crusaid
The Dorus Trust
Elton John AIDS Foundation
The Gerald Gundle Trust
The Goldsmiths' Company Charity
The Lloyds TSB Foundation for England and Wales
Monument Trust
Northmoor Trust
Peter Moores Foundations
The Pilkington Trust
The Rowan Charitable Trust
The TUUT Charitable Trust
We are also grateful to our statutory funders in 2006 - 2007:
Department of Health
Scottish Executive, Health Department
Immigration and Nationality Department
European Social Fund
